Saturday 19 March (part 2): George 52000 castle lights and Stoke Bay

Whilst on some little road we spotted this crazy looking castle, it turns out to be this lovely retired gentleman “garden”, he has been doing for the past 13 years.
I was in heaven as I adore all outsider arts especially on large scale, we couldn't stop grinning, despite all he amazing scenery and wildlife that was my highlight for Kangaroo Island and also one of the highlight for the all trip.
A full of castle with A viking ship, turrets and giant tree-house but mostly made from corrugated iron plate , traffic cones, xmas lights, old machinery , car parts, soft toys, train sets, toys; towers filled with plastic swords, shields and witches. We went up the towers and explore whilst the owner was busy painting the entry gate. Set amongst luscious plants and flower. I would love to also see it in the dark as it is called George 52000 castle lights so must be quite a display

We then stopped in Stoke Bay, a lovely secluded secret like beach as to enter through the rocks…sadly really gone cold so no dipping in the sea…just one in the Jacuzzi that evening

Then after dinner a possum came to say hello outside (well we did leave banana for him but too fast to catch on camera)
However whilst I was busy posting on Fb all about the wildfife and how cute they all are I was completely unware that my least favourite type was just above me all along. Let's just say I didn't take a photo of it , just scream and ran...biggest spider ever, even Dave that live here said it was the biggest he has seen and thanks god he removed it .
