Bali (day 6): Ubud homestays [Jan. 12th, 2015|07:09 pm]

Sunday 21 December

That day we said goodbye to our lovely homestay Gusti House 2 on one side of Ubud and moved to another homestay on other side of town Jiwa House. I wanted to experience different ones, no rice fields and noisy frogs but bungalows in a temple balinese garden with lots of birds. It was a lovely place too, with yummy breakfast on out little patio, very central so explored more that side of town and luckily they had just built a swimming pool so ended up being pretty much it's first user (slightly surreal swimming amongst builders but so required ).
