Witches and Wicked Bodies at British Museum [Nov. 24th, 2014|05:36 pm]
[Tags|, ]

Saturday 22 November

The next exhibition that day was Witches and Wicked Bodies at British Museum
Small exhibition but some nice prints on display. I was so nicely surprised they had included one Redon  (I love his work but so rarely on display in UK)  and I  loved the Fuseli print with the Mandrake (not one I had seen before) . Also on displays some unexpected Waterhouse, Burnes Jones, Dulac, Rossetti (which went well having just visited the Morris show at the National Portrait Gallery)
We were a bit rush as we got there just a bit before closing time , so might have to pop by again one lunchtime to have a peek at the book but also in some more details as some details are just so fab.

Free and on until January at British Museum.

Afterward we pop to Camden for diner then visited Patricia and Gabriel for catching up and wine :)
