Bedroom [Sep. 30th, 2014|05:58 pm]

Sunday 28 September
Day spent doing DYI, at least the bedroom is more or less done (well for time being, still like to paint the ceiling but with all the horrible artex a bit too much of a project atm and need to paint the radiator).
At least we finally attached the new ceiling light fitting ( took hours longer than anticipated with extra awkward positions on top of ladders and of course cannot see it in photos as lights are on), last bedside table finally painted purple and amusingly we re-attached back on the edge of the forest my gothic candlestick only to later realise now cannot closed the door (not like the cats would allow it anyway)...

I love this! It looks like a fairytale with all the decorations and the wonderfull wallpaper. This reminds me that we still need to finish decorating our bedroom. The big work is done, but it is still bare and boring.

we also left it till last...the living room was more important ...the dressing room not that decorated (did paint wall purple) but it is more a practical room with shelves and drawer everywhere.

It will probably take us a while too before we finish decorating the rooms. There are still some big projects that need to be done first.
