Much Ado about Nothing [May. 6th, 2014|05:37 pm]
Friday 2 May

Sadly the Goblin Ball been cancelled, a friend had some spare free tickets to the Globe so i thought why not and took Nadia along.
I don't think i have ever been so cold during a play at the globe. Even being prepared with layers and flask of tea it was bitter cold, leaving at interval did cross our mind especially as although it was good and funny,  it was  a 50'set version do no nice Shakespearian costume and i think i prefered the one i saw there few years back.

I was so surprised when you said the Goblin ball was cancelled, as there has been a piece about in the Metro only a day or so before, and I'd wondered if you were going. It must have been a really last minute cancellation!

we were all very upset by cancellation as one of the best event in London and everyone so looking forward . it got cancelled just a few days before not sure why, James didn't say more than due to unforeseen circumstance.... it was pretty much sold out as always , all the performer announced so i can only assume to do with the venue. they had a half page on it it that week time out too. really annoying as too last minute to then join Simon to Belgium , at least i hadn't spent money or time on my outfit like other friends.
