Monday Tokyo : Meiji Shrine & Gardens, Harajuku, Sake and Suspiria [Feb. 20th, 2014|05:46 pm]

Monday 9th February

Firstly Tokyo tube is crazy, never seen anything so complicated, but we didn't do too bad considering and they have birdy noises and all different jingles :)
visited the Meiji Shrine and saw some very traditional japanese weddings

We also did the gardens, spotted and fed a raccoon and a little bird came and ate in our hands (sadly attempting to transfer photos on my laptop I lost half of the photos taken that day mostly, including the cute bird hand eating ones and the well )

Next we went to Harajuku (like camden with  pinkness and lolitas) loved that place and it was the one place we kept returning to . (sadly all photos lost but fear not I took more next day), ate pancake in pinkest parlour, they put lots of stuff in their pancakes (ice cream, cream fruits, cakes, brownies). also went to kiddieland :)

then we ended the night in the Suspiria theme bar , which was located near Shinjuku in labyrinth of fab streets with crazy small bars (fit a max 5 people in each).

we then realise that the underpass that returned to hotel closed at 11pm and spent very long time trying to found our way back..back then we hadn't realised that map north and south was other way round...

I was in Tokyo last May and also visited all of these places (well, except those bars!).. So these lovely photos definitely look familiar! :) Thanks for sharing them! Isn't Japan just amazing?!! :D
