My outfit for this year Gala Nocturna pretty much done...the theme is Swan princess....having done white recently i didn't fancy it again so soon so instead i went for flamigo :) well not quite but pink :)
Been wanting to incorporate the pink outfit created for WGT (i made the skirt and jenny the jacket) and been adding layers and plumes...mostly using all my bits at home...my plume cape becoming skirts, jacket...all being remashed into a new version. IThe beaded feather arm/glove that were a nightmare to make and i will happily never go near feather trim ever again...my machine needles still full of glue... Just need to finish the headdress, sort a bag then i can start thinking of outfit for faery ball the weekedn after
here it is...hard to make black feather and black beading come out much in photos
Another astonishing outfit! I really loved this pink outfit at WGT, it was so vibrant. You will definitely stand out between all the white swans and black swans 😀. I'm really looking forward to seeing you again at Gala Nocturna and of course take lots of pictures.
Once this flu/cold thing is over I really need to start working on my gown. Thankfully large parts are already done because they are recycled from other projects. But I still need to think about my headdress. I want to make something with rhe crow wings I have in my stash and the cute white swan I bought at Christmas. And it has to look 18th century, but I don't have the money to buy a new wig. So there's a challenge for me.
money was an issue as all went on bali..so why i decided to reuse the pink one in some new form..all detachable afterwards :) for the wig i got a cheap black one from china and surprise it was easier than i though to make..mostly using cardboard and old messy hair i kept :)
