|5-9 May A mixed bag week
Monday was spent pretty much in the garden, i had Georgie visiting for the day so we had nice lunch and catch up. Simon returned from Belgium his adventure in the evening.
Tuesday was back to work and of course the start of Eurovision week, i love being on FB at same time as all the fun entry people making whilst watching...Boo the Latvian cake song and Moldova version of Xena didn't make it through at least Iceland did
..mostly at home recovering having tried some a new gym and classes i was aching from cardio combat Tuesday and new boxing class at lunchtime, also doing various measurement for covering all those new window...little else was achieved. Also discover that our car had been keyed down one side and all across the bonnet. Don't understand this kind of random act of vandalism.Thursday evening (of course everything was on that night incl the opening of new steampunk exhibit) but in the end, we went to see Valeria degree show at the Central School of Speech and Drama. She displayed some amazing pieces she made and had a wander around the building to see lots of interesting exhibits of set design, costume design, lighting. Afterward we made our way to Jeff and Liana for dinner and watch some more europop silliness "know as Eurovision semi final part 2" my silly phone just refused to show newsfeed properly so slightly annoying but thanks mostly to Polish entry had quite a good laugh :)Taking us to Friday
Not good morning to you Friday...get to tube to discover Wood Green station and Piccadilly line suspended, jump on bus to Alexandra Palace station, mega packed but eventually managed to squish onto a train. Get to Finsbury Park where they decided to close entry it as too busy !!! and let people trickle in time to time. Finally get onto Victoria line to keep stopping due to passenger action at my final destination...finally made it to work...gosh on day like this i miss my old 10 min cycling to work even more than normal.
at least a weekend of gigs ahead....Xandria tonight and off to Halifax tomorrow to see Current 93
