Cats, fleas and coffin. [Oct. 23rd, 2013|05:20 pm]
Tuesday 22 October...

Simon cats been acting very odd recently, been quite naughty whilst he was away and i have been  clearing after them like crazy as they were creating so much  black soot like residue(and not having dealt with this before wrongly assumed their had a massive dandruff problem)...that morning we discover why...fleas
So in the evening we took a noisy short ride to the vet.
Poor cats 14 years old, move to London and catch their first ever fleas.
At least treatment started and house fumigated.
My coffin was also used as a wee spot at weekend so took the opportunity to clear floor and make it dry...Looks like a wake in the living room and a new hanging spot for the cats.

Beware! If cats have had a wee somewhere naughty, and are generally a bit miserable, they may alas do the same again (we know as we have a used-to-be-dreadful cat at the moment, that has made me wash lots of curtains). The best advice we got from our vet, was to clean up after them with biological washing powder as that cleans every trace: it does seem to work.
