I decided to cycle to angel after work, I always forget there is a bit of a hill, which in gig make up and silly platform boots is not the most practical…very handy Boris bike station right outside slimelight.
Met up with Ade, Clare and Julian, thanks to their insight (they just seen the same gig in Birmingham) the description of the first band Halcyon Way as a bad Guns&Roses, we had time for a drink in the pub and perfectly timed our arrival just as they finished their set and their description was adequate.
However the other support Trillium was excellent and it had been a few years since I last saw Delain and whooooaaa have they got better…. What an excellent gig , it was the last night of their tour so they were in a fine form and delighted us for 2 hours :))

Tempting after party but we all had early start (my guest caught an insane 6.40am train!!!)so naughty food and bed
I am a bit worried that my camera started to play up with the zoom just not working and took much turning ion/off, battery out to get it going again…which right now not good timing…hopefully just a glitch

Interesting (and a bit worrying) that you're having problems with the zoom on your camera. Mine has been sluggish on my camera on occasions, right from the start; although I have a feeling its only when I use the cheap battery - seems to work OK with the proper Canon battery. *touch wood*

not had problem until recently, but first it was the zoom going out and not stopping and
yesterday...just lock itself...i guess nearly 2 years old which with me usually the death of all my camera :(

have you tried with a different battery though? I've never had a problem with cheap batteries with other cameras but the Canon does seem to be more sensitive.

could be...my original battery the worst one nowadays just not lasting ...just hope it live for a few more month...rather put money towards house deposit atm :)

i would be shopping for a new one right now..i have a few events and gigs coming so will keep an eye out if a glitch or its upcoming death

Yeah, I usually use that if I'm Boris biking home from London Bridge. Hope to use it to drop me straight at the queue one day.

i now use the boris bike daily really loving it made life easier and great for this crap weather...as i can decide bus or cycle on the go :)

My camera zoom gets sluggish sometimes too. I've noticed temperature can sometimes affect it.

it was very hot in there and last few times raining on it...will have to keep a close eye on it :)
